The National Alliance for Drug Endangered Children (National DEC) invites you to make a donation of merchandise, cash, or gift certificate for our silent auction fundraising event. As funds are dwindling across the network and the need for services is increasing, your donation is more important than ever.
National DEC strives to break the cycle of abuse and neglect by empowering practitioners who work to transform the lives of children and families plagued by drugs. Your gift – in the form of an auction donation – will advance this mission and directly support state and tribal community efforts while raising public awareness regarding this most important cause. All of the proceeds generated from auction will be used to offset any costs associated with the 2009 National Conference as well as to provide scholarship opportunities for the 2010 National DEC Conference. Through your generous participation, we can ensure that registration fees remain affordable and scholarships are available for those in need. We anticipate that approximately 500 persons, representing state and local governments, law enforcement, courts, child welfare, and the medical community, will be attending the National Conference. You and/or your organization will receive prominent recognition during the auction program as well as be listed in our annual report for this most generous donation. Additionally, there will be space available during the event to display any of your organization’s brochures or business cards alongside your donated auction item. If you cannot attend the conference or do not wish to travel carrying an item, please consider making a tax-deductible cash donation and National DEC will do your shopping for you!
